Proposal for A 28th Amendment?
Is it Possible to Amend an Unequal System?

YBCA iteration

From October 2022-March 2023 a site-specific iteration of Proposal for A 28th Amendment?
Is it Possible to Amend an Unequal System?
(made in collaboration with Alex Strada) was on view at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Each iteration of the project reflects the localities in which it is shown. At YBCA we added a Tagalog and a Korean Banner to reflect the commonly spoken languages in the Bay Area. The exhibition included new videos by local legal scholars on the housing crisis, Native erasure and the tensions between tribal law and federal law as well as a video focusing on reproductive justice after the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Public workshops and programs focused on housing justice in the Bay Area, reproductive justice and the inequities baked into constitutional originalism.
